OUR STORY

   Mother Medicina was born from a dream I had while pregnant with my first baby. At the time, I was immersed in my studies of natural medicine and nurturing new life, and I felt a deep desire to share my knowledge with a community of like-minded individuals—especially mothers—who resonated with living a life inspired by nature. I wasn’t just eager to share what I was learning; I wanted to create something tangible to support women during their transformative journey from maiden to mother and beyond. That dream made it clear—I was meant to birth this business alongside my child. And so, both my baby and Mother Medicina came into being.

Growing up, I had little understanding of true health. In my teenage years, I struggled with acne, fluctuating weight, digestive issues, painful periods, disordered eating, and a profound sense of disconnection from myself. I knew I wasn’t living to my fullest potential—how could I, when I didn’t feel well? Visits to mainstream doctors and prescription medications never addressed the root cause of my struggles.

It was during a particularly low point in my life that I discovered yoga. Yoga introduced me to stillness, something I had rarely experienced, having grown up in a turbulent and noisy environment. That practice led me to self-help books, which in turn introduced me to the healing power of food—and from there, my journey unfolded.

Nature was my constant through those dark times, providing me with a sense of connection and vitality. Whether you call it God, Mother Earth, or something else, I believe it’s all the same—a gentle, loving force of healing that exists both in the world and within each of us.

Mother Medicina, like me, has evolved over the years. While my initial focus was on supporting mothers, I now feel called to offer herbal support to all who seek it. We all deserve access to nature’s medicine and the education that comes with it.
